-----------------

The first release in a series of songs written for people on Twitter who simply requested that I write them a song.

This one was inspired by felines, a few random tweets and perhaps a few long nights crying by the record machine, dreaming about my Chevy and my old blue jeans.

lyrics

-----------
Lyrics:

All I know is all I know right now, she said out loud.
Basquiat, I know that you can't really hear me.

But I keep talking anyway,
Hoping that I will soon get through.
You call it crazy, but I call it close to you.

Mister Merlin, all these flashing lights are not enough.
Skin hunger equals wanting to be close.

But I keep talking anyway,
Hoping that I will soon get through.
You call it crazy, but I call it close to you.

Tonight I lay me down to sleep.
I pray this bed, my soul to keep.
For, if I die before I wake
I'll take my chances at the pearly picket fence,
because it's getting so tough to feel I've said enough.

All I know is all I know right now, she said out loud.
